March 1998 December 2004 Switchboard, Inc., Westborough, MA Manager of Creative Services/ Web Designer Responsible for all aspects of user interface design on Switchboard.com, MapsOnUs.com and affiliates. Created web-ready graphics and animations for internal promotions as well advertising partners. Partners included CBS, AOL, Discover, Ask Jeeves, Barnes and Noble, Bell Canada, Disney, Ford and Palm. Conducted usability focus groups as needed. Have managed up to 8 artists in house and on a freelance basis. Participated in on-going educational programs to learn new applications, programming and user interface techniques. Print work included logo design, letterhead, bus cards, sales kits, annual reports and direct mail. |

September 1997 March 1998 Gray and Graham, Westport, CT Senior Art Director/ Producer Consultant for a small advertising agency, taking on many roles in the creation of web sites and multimedia CD-ROMs. Clients included Bankers Trust, MasterCard, Dale Carnegie and Bloomberg. Developed animations as well as custom html web pages incorporating java script, shockwave and the latest tools in technology. Additional responsibilities included client meetings, developing schedules, flowcharts, storyboards, design, programming, testing on multiple platforms as well as meeting tight deadlines. |

October 1996 September 1997 Cendant, Stamford, CT Interactive Studio Manager Directed a team of five artists. Increased productivity and effectiveness of daily graphics work. Hired freelance artists as needed. Created web ready banners, graphics, animations, logos, multimedia presentations and user interface screens for numerous web sites, including NetMarket.com, Autovantage.com, TravelersAdvantage.com and ShoppersAdvantage.com. Responsible for all design needs for the Interactive division as well as contract work for Cendant subsidiary companies (Sierra Online, Davidson and Bookstacks). Learned AOL proprietary software (Rainman) to display graphics and UI screens on AOL. |
